Introducing Olivia D.

Olivia D.

Share a brief overview of your professional background.

My background is in social media and brand ambassadorship, where I developed strong communication and engagement skills. I’ve transitioned into HR and recruiting, now working as a recruiter and community engagement coordinator, where I apply my experience in building relationships and connecting with people.

Share a bit about your personal interests or hobbies.

I love to read, hang out with my cats, Moo and Maple, do pilates, and play pickleball!

Recommend a local restaurant/shop/business that you love.

I highly recommend Golden Hour Gift Company for unique, personalized gifts — perfect for any occasion. I also love The Winfield Creative, run by Brittany Winfield, which offers top-notch marketing management services, mentorship, and courses to help you create a strong marketing plan.

Tell us what you like most about living in the greater Burlington area.

Living in Essex Junction, I truly appreciate the strong sense of community here. The town’s abundance of local businesses and the friendly faces everywhere make it feel like home. Coming from Atlanta, I realize how much I missed out on that close-knit community vibe, which has quickly become one of my favorite aspects of living here.

Share what motivated you to join the BYP Advisory Board.

I joined the BYP Advisory Board to connect with like-minded professionals, expand my knowledge, and contribute to strengthening our community. It’s a great opportunity to build relationships while making a positive impact locally.
